Abstract :
Call center companies in the Philippines are the leading businesses in terms of inbound and outbound calls. HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) lead at the top compare to other call centers in the Philippines. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of HSBC competitiveness to the mindset of its selected executives. The researcher surveyed 130 out of 193 employees using Slovins formula. The researcher used self-made questionnaire which means connected to the mindset of executive such as resourceful, self-fulfillment, and achievement. In addition, the perception of executive such as fast pacing and innovative are also included in support to the dependent variables. The researcher utilized the descriptive and inferential statistics to satisfy the needed information for the present study. As T-test, Pearson r, Standard deviation, Percentage distribution, weighted mean and frequency distribution was computed, analyzed and interpreted, the results, the summary of the respondents in relation to demographic profile majority of them were female, their age fall under 21-30 years old, while civil status more on single, then majority of them were college degree holder and also they have 4-5 years experience in their work as executives. In addition, the summary on the mean percentage shows that the respondents have very high in the indicator fast pacing, and the next indicator innovative were the respondents got average. Also, the variables under the mind set of executive such as resourceful, selffulfillment and achievement have the same verbal interpretation strongly agree. Furthermore, the degree of relationship existing between the independent and dependent variables is very high positive correlation, using the range of values for the interpretation of the Pearson r. Lastly, the obtained relationship is significant at the 0.05 level, i.e., there exist a real correlation between the independent variables and dependents variables using t-test.
