Bangladesh. Due to this, the then Government of Bangladesh put in
place a comprehensive array of foreign investment policies aimed at
bringing about significant socio-economic improvements to the people
of Bangladesh and ultimately, self-reliance, for the nation. The paper
talks about the foreign investment policy in Bangladesh. In recognition
of the private sectors ability to contribute towards achievement of these
goals, the government has recently implemented a number of
significant policy reforms. Also the paper will look at some benefit of
the policies, the challenges foreign direct investment (FDI) or investors
face in the country with some recommendation drawn and finally
conclusion.
