formation of children in Rokan Hulu Regency. To get answers from the
problems investigated, descriptive analysis used qualitative
approaches using interview method, observation and documentation.
The findings of this study found that parents have a very important
role in shaping the character and personality of children, because the
family is the first child education vehicle. If the childs family has
received a good character education, then the child has a good
