are always susceptible to weathering and various other chemical,
physical and biological factors. Due to its composition, carbonate rocks
are subject to weathering, which leads to an increase in their porosity,
consequently, the reduction of their mechanical characteristics
(VIEIRA DOS REIS, L. 2017). The objective of this research is to
analyze the period of reconstruction of the fissures through the bacterium bacillussubtilis, caused by the test of controlled compression
of the mortar. The culture was carried through the bones of chicken for
the development of the bacterium and then added in the water of
kneading in the trace of the selected mortar. The result of this research
is to observe the manifestation of the bacterium bacillussubtilis
between the fissures provoked in the mortar hardened through the
rupture and cured at 28 days.
