prevalence of chronic non-communicable diseases. However, there is a
consensus among researchers that fruit and vegetable intake is effective
in treating obesity and its comorbidities due to their vast content of
phytochemicals and active ingredients. Camu camu, (Myrciaria dubia
(HBK) McVaugh) a natural fruit from the Amazon, has attracted the
attention of experts due to its high content of vitamin C and polyphenols.
