Abstract :
This work is a literature review that addresses the prevention and treatment of scabies in children because it is a parasite caused by a mite, Sarcoptesscabiei that causes skinlesi on sand other more serious consequences to human health, being considered a disease neglected in Brazil. In this context the concern arises to investigate the topic of child healthcare as one of the effective means of prevention, combined with an assistance process eager to combat and treat this public health problem with greater incidence in tropical and under developed countries as it is the case of Brazil. In view of this, the purpose of this work is to promote the protection of the health of children and their families through preventive methods, seeking to prioritize them and to beaded to research that removes negligence, thus avoiding future suffering.
