Abstract :
Acute diarrheal diseases (DDA) are characterized by repeated expulsion of feces in liquid form, which can cause mild, moderate and severe dehydration. They are transmitted via the fecal-oral route through pathogenic microorganisms. The highest incidence occurs in environments with poor sanitary conditions. In view of the above, it is evident to investigate as objective of this work, the possible factors that contribute to the DDA transmission in the new sky community of the municipality of Autazes / AM. The study was carried out in the quantitative, documental and retrospective context, between the years 2010 and 2014, through the interpretation of the data sheet of Acute Diarrheal Diseases (DDA) monitored by the Municipal Coordination of Epidemiological Surveillance in Autazes. A cross-sectional analysis was also carried out, from the physical, chemical and microbiological tests of water on water samples collected in 10 different points between October and December of the year 2015. According to the results of the analyzes, Physico-chemical and microbiological parameters of water at some collection points, may be associated with anthropic or natural influences, in addition, the precariousness of sanitation and the lack of an alternative system for the treatment of water distributed in the study community, may possibly be Contributing factors to the high index of ADI in the rural area of the municipality of Autazes / AM.
