faith which provides hope and consolation within a secular world.
Here, it is a way of life, a body of law and an all-embracing cultural
framework. The novelist should not dare to satirize fundamental
religious beliefs. This paper is a humble effort to trace out such
incident in Midnight’s Children, which makes this novel interesting to
read.
