multidimensional data analysis (MDA) should be considered as a
research decision support system (DSS) so that its value as a research
tool can be better realized. This paper provides some theoretical
clarification on this supportive view. In addition, it provides an
illustration on how this is done with a EPT application on a data file
on a 2015 questionnaire survey conducted by the writer with regard to
the topic of perceptions on homelessness in Hong Kong. The aim is to
encourage the academic community in the Research Methods field to
study it as a useful research method topic.
