language encompassing its background and typological features. This
language is Gujjar tribe specific language that faced ups and downs in
the past. Syntactically, this language shares its features with other
Indo-Aryan languages like Urdu, Punjabi, Hindko and Mewati.
Although, Gojri is being spoken in some regions of Pakistan and India
yet linguistically, it has no extensive account. Gojri is not taught in
schools and this study documents its background and typological
features in general, and its promotion in the stream of research, in
